Tots els mecanismes is the new solo exhibition by Josep Segú (Salomó, Tarragona, 1958), a painter who has been exhibiting at the gallery for just over a decade.
The new exhibition is made up of his most recent production, a total of eight impressive works posed as eight challenges in the realistic representation of the New York landscape. Some of these compositions portray the city’s most emblematic places, while others are constructed from a meticulous study of the light that falls on shop windows and how urban life is reflected in them, merging with objects, creating stimulating chromatic combinations and infinite effects that allow Segú to show off his refined technique necessary in his own journey towards Photorealism.
